Road and Track Magazine is Very Impressed with the 2009 Kia Borrego
The accolades continue to roll in for the all New 2009 Kia Borrego: In a recent new vehicle driving impression, Road and Track magazine drove the new 2009 Kia Borrego SUV and came away from the experience "very impressed" with Kia's first full-size sports utility vehicle.
Road and Track said, "We had the opportunity to drive several hundred miles in the Borrego and came away very impressed. Space efficiency is a strong point; its dimensions are very close to that of the current Ford Explorer but it has three rows of seating, the back row easily accommodating children for long periods of time and adults for short trips. Granted, our V-8 test-driver wasn't fully loaded, but it did have a lot of optional bells and whistles like navigation, leather seats, power sunroof, etc. But the SUV is quiet and has a nice, firm, non-truck-like ride, thanks to eight rubber mounts sandwiched between the body and frame and a well-tuned suspension.
